This is my body....the new covenant in my blood

“The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, ‘This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.’ In the same way, after supper, he took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.’” (1 Corinthians 11:23-25)

As Resurrection Day approaches, Christians across the globe are coming together
and rejoicing in our Lord and Savior. For most Christians, the Lord's Supper is one of the most sacred ceremonies performed. Partaking in the Lord's Supper draws us closer to Jesus and reminds us of His sacrifice so we will have eternal life.

If you happen to be partaking in the Lord's Supper this Easter season, take a moment while accepting the bread and wine and give heartfelt thanks to our Lord. Rejoice with us as we celebrate the life and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has overcome death and walks beside us everyday. We rest during this season in the comfort and knowledge that through Christ we will experience everlasting life.

What comforts do you feel when you bow your head and partake of the Lord's Supper?
